Christa Nelson Joins Friends of Czech Village Board of Directors

Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Christa Nelson was recently elected as the newest member to the Friends of the Czech Village Board of Directors.
Friends of Czech Village has a singular goal of rebuilding and restoring the Riverside Roundhouse: The Heart of Czech Village. The non-profit organization is currently working on fundraising efforts and approving a building design. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2018.
The newly-rebuilt Riverside Roundhouse will be a high-quality facility for markets, recreational activities, weddings, parties, etc. For more information about the project, visit CzechVillageFriends.org.
Nelson states, “It is a privilege to be part of such a great organization. The passion this board has for the Community, the Village and the Roundhouse project is immeasurable. Nelson, a Marketing Strategist at MCS, holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, and graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s of Business Administration. In addition to her work at MCS, Nelson is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Dubuque – Cedar Rapids Campus and frequently guest lectures on various marketing topics, branding techniques and communication tools. Previously she was the Director of Marketing at a law firm in Cedar Rapids.
